Help TalentedApps support the Shelter Network

Posted by Meg Bear on December 4, 2009

Like many of you, I am a big believer in the concept that “charity begins at home”.

I like to give locally and support organizations that I can personally see the results of their work.  Fortunately, we have been lucky to have been involved in the Shelter Network in San Mateo.  Our team has done a few events in support of their cause.

Today, I got an email asking for help and I decided I should pass this along.  If you are on Facebook and feel inclined to help others this holiday season please consider voting your support.

Chase is running a contest on Facebook to give away $5 MILLION to charities that receive the most votes. Help Shelter Network win by visiting Chase Community Giving’s Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/ChaseCommunityGiving?v=app_162065369655 and selecting Shelter Network of San Mateo County as your charity of choice.

The top 100 charities to get the most votes will receive prizes of $25,000, $100,000 or even $1 million! Please vote now and help Shelter Network return homeless families and individuals to self-sufficiency.

To add Shelter Network to your Facebook page, join the cause at http://apps.facebook.com/causes/shelternetwork. Thank you!
